QualTeq, Nomoto, A&P, UPD Global Resources: Bankruptcy

Aug. 16 (Bloomberg) -- QualTeq Inc. and 16 affiliates filed for bankruptcy protection, citing negative publicity from court rulings against the founder of the company, a provider of production services to direct marketing firms.

The firm listed assets of as much as $50 million and debt of as much as $10 million in Chapter 11 documents filed Aug. 14 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Wilmington, Delaware. Affiliate Vmark Inc. listed debt of more than $100 million.

“The businesses have been harmed by unrelated litigation and judgments against certain of the debtors’ shareholders,” Arun Veluchamy, vice president of South Plainfield, New Jersey- based QualTeq, said in court papers. In December 2010, several creditors obtained judgments against Pethinaidu Veluchamy, the debtors’ founder, followed by “multiple other creditors” who “obtained multimillion dollar judgments against the founder and/or his wife,” according to the filings.

QualTeq and its affiliates provide services including database management, customized printing and plastic card production and personalization, according to court papers.

The company and the 30 largest creditors of its units not holding collateral are owed about $5.9 million, according to court documents. Plami SA De CV is the biggest, with a claim of $1.2 million. The companies owe secured creditors about $66.4 million, according to court papers.

The case is In re Qualteq Inc., d/b/a VCT New Jersey Inc., 11-12572, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Delaware (Wilmington).

Kate then comes along and buys the middle 20 acres. Why? Because the middle 20 acres already has the original well, from the original ranch AND it has a private access road. Very important when you are doing what I do and working with the women and children I work with. I even got to name the road and the county put my address on this road and placed a pretty nifty road sign! I fenced the parts of the property that were not fenced as of yet, (the part that borders the 12 acres was fenced by Naked Gary, so I only had the north fence to put up, the southeast portion and eventually, when someone bought the back property, I would need to fence the east side also...but that could wait for now...) I then put in the electric, the septic, the house and  moved all my seven horses and all the paraphernalia that comes with seven horses to my new property... It has been a flippin' fight every since then. The sheriff department has been called because he pulled down my ranch access gate to the back property, and then left me a nasty note on my gate, blaming it on my horses. No injuries were apparent on my horses, but what WAS apparent was tire tracks  from the gate where it had been torn down. I then had to fence the property on this side, to assure the safety of my horses and keep him from hurting them. We have also had problems with him running around naked on his property, which by law is a no-no. If you want to be a nudist then you need to move to a secluded area. No one is saying that you cannot go around nude, just not where others are subjected to it in the normal society. He has been turned in numerous times and in retaliation, he left a couple of really NASTY Polaroids on my front door. The sheriff department is ASSUMING it is him, but as there was no head shot face shot, the identification is going to be a problem without a line up. NO WAY am I doing that line up.
