Bluff Manufacturing Makes Holiday Donation to Burleson Family ...

As part of its year-long community service program, Bluff Manufacturing, a national provider of dock, material handling and warehouse safety equipment, selects a local charity or cause to support each year during the holidays. This year, the company gave toys, monetary donations and household goods for a family in Burleson, Texas, who recently suffered a house fire which caused extensive damage and property loss.
The 56 employees at Bluff Manufacturing’s administrative office and manufacturing facility in South Fort Worth raised $ 1040, and the company donated $ 500, to purchase toys and gifts for the family, which has four boys ages two, four, six and eight. In addition, $ 250 was given to the family to help with other needs and an employee donated furniture.
“Experiencing a house fire is devastating and we wanted to do our part to make the holidays a little brighter for this family,” said Clark Smith, president of Bluff Manufacturing. “Helping those in need is what the season is truly about and our employees have a strong desire to make a difference in the local community.”
This is the tenth consecutive year the company and its employees have given to those less fortunate in the community during the holiday season. For the past few years, Bluff Manufacturing has donated to Toys for Tots, an organization founded by the U.S. Marine Corps that collects and delivers new toys to children for Christmas.
Supporting a holiday charity is only one part of Bluff Manufacturing’s community service program which encompasses a variety of organizations and activities throughout the year, including the American Cancer Society, YMCA, community resource centers, night shelters and the United Way.
