Acer's Q2 PC shipments remain weak in Western Europe

Acer shipped 2.05 million units during this period, suffering the biggest year-on-year loss of 44.6 percent among the top five PC vendors. The company, which owned a 19.3 percent market share in the first quarter, continued to struggle in the region as a result of significant inventory adjustments and a decrease in mini-notebook sales, Gartner said.
